<p>Een ander praktisch &amp; concreet luik van het didactisch onderzoek is de<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>ontwikkeling van een <b><i>schematisch improvisatie-systeem/spel</i></b>;<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>in de vorm van speelkaarten dat kan gebruikt worden om een improvisatie op te starten en creatieve dilemma’s te deblokkeren, op een speelse manier. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Het dient als leidraad voor collectieve improvisatieoefeningen, dat kan ze uitlokken, of ook als uitgangspunt voor<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>een instant performance of creatief onderzoek.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p>De <span style="color: #ff0000;"> <a style="color: #ff0000;" href="https://soit.info/works-projects/rosegarden-2017" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><i>ROSEGARDEN</i></a> <span style="caret-color: #ff0000;"><span style="color: #000000;">(IMPROVISATIE-SESSIES) </span> </span></span>in het theater “Brigittines” gaven ons,<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>de begeleidende groep, toch heel wat expertise in hoe groeps-improvaties te kaderen, structureren en stimuleren. De nood aan korte, klare regels, scherpe thema’s<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>en onderliggende dilemma’s. Een soort korte route die men probeert te volgen en van waaruit dan de improvisatie zich losmaakt; een aanzet. Eerder simpel &amp; een beetje rigide, om net een improvisatie op basis hiervan de vrije loop te geven.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>We stelden vast simpele instructies de associaties stimuleren en ook een vrijheid en openheid creëren. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Het brengt ook spelplezier, complexloos en<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>countert het ‘over’-denken.</p>
<p>Dit instrument wil ik ontwikkelen vanuit eigen ervaringen, een reeds handboeken met tips en richtlijnen voor improvisatie en lopende gesprekken met Diane Fourdrignier. We kunnen het improvisatie-systeem ook uitproberen in die context van het leerprogramma van het Conservatoire Royale.</p>
<p><span style="color: #008000;"><em>ONDERZOEK &amp; ONTWIKKELING VAN EEN DIDACTISCH PROGRAMMA</em></span></p>
<p>In verschillende onderzoeksperiodes en gelijkendlopend met een toets<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>in de praktijk (in het Conservatoire<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>Royale, opgevolgd door theaterdocent Diane Fourdrignier) ontwikkelen we een <a href="https://soit.info/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/research_masterclass.jpeg" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><span style="color: #ff0000;">DIDACTISCH PROGRAMMA.</span></a></p>
<p>De focus ligt op de notie van<span style="color: #ff0000;"> “<a style="color: #ff0000;" href="https://soit.info/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/accidents.jpeg" target="_blank" rel="noopener">COLLECTIEVE IMPROVISATIE</a>”</span> , als een techniek aangewend gedurende<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>het creatieproces alsook <span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>“live”<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>gedurende performances.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>Deze didactische tool wordt gegoten in<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>kortdurende masterklassen voor performers en studenten.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #ffff00;"><strong>ONDERZOEK IN DE PARAMETERS ROND </strong><strong>SCHILDERKU</strong><strong>NST</strong></span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #ffff00;"><strong>de cross-over van beginselen &amp; paradigma’s TRANSDISCIPLINA</strong></span></h3>
<p>Onderzoek in de <a href="https://soit.info/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/painting-transfo-1.mov" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><span style="color: #ff0000;"><b>SCHILDERKUNST </b></span></a>wordt concreet door deze<span style="color: #ff0000;"><span style="caret-color: #ff0000;"> <span style="color: #ff0000;"><a style="color: #ff0000;" href="https://soit.info/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/painting-research.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>PARAMETERS TE ISOLEREN EN TE TESTEN</strong></a></span>:</span></span> bijvoorbeeld door een reeks te maken waarin enkel het contrast varieert, of waarin dezelfde compositie wordt herwerkt met verschillende kleursystemen; of door te experimenteren met diepte door geleidelijk ruimtelijke aanwijzingen te verwijderen tot het beeld in vlakheid instort. Een andere benadering is het verstoren van één parameter—zoals een expressief gebaar toepassen binnen een rigide geometrische compositie—om spanning tussen systemen te observeren.</p>
<p>We vertalen  dit onderzoek naar andere disciplines van performance en creaties &#8211; Op termijn, na de periode van het labo-werk,<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>wil ik in samenwerking met een psycho-sociaal instituut en in het kader van creatieve therapie een visueel-artistiek project opzetten, in samenwerking en uitgevoerd door<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>de patiënten van dit instituut, <span style="color: #339966;"><em><strong>WINDOWS ON THE WORLD</strong></em></span>. Het idee zou zijn om op een raam en met<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>de hand (geen penselen) een narratief verhaal te schilderen in een continue stroom. Het schilderij evolueert continu, delen worden weggevaagd, veranderd, er komt een abstracte fase, dan chaos en verstilling, het canvas is een in constante flux. Het verhaal en de uitwerking gebeurt met de patiënt van deze zorginstelling.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>

<p>A workshop conducted by Hans Van den Broeck &amp; Jake Ingram-Dodd in the framework of ImpulsTanz &#8211; festival 2023<br />
The goal is to sharpen our capacity of improvisation – training the necessary skills through immediate, instant, impromptu actions and “here and now” performance. Parameters encompass endurance, flexibility (physical, narrative or hybrid form) and stream of consciousness, amongst others. The 3-hour work-sessions are timed via a short-rotation principle or via longer duration; a strategy to destabilise a “natural” build-up, warp the now, focus on the moment and make us roam in wastelands were the unexpected can take root. This workshop will be accessible to public/audience in assigned sessions: the audience and the performer are interchangeable, everyone can decide to watch or to perform.<br />
We undertook a long improvisation-session on the outside tennis courts, trying to meander &amp; flow through the different excercises &amp; associative games we undertook in the days before &#8211; a flow &#8211; an eruption &#8211; no narration</p>

IT IS YOU WHO TAKES THE RISK OF INTERRUPTED, SUSPENDED TIME. NO ONE ASKED US NOR INVITED US TO ENTER THE SILENCED SPACE .<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>WHEN YOU WANDER IN THE OUTSKIRTS YOU SEE THE CRAWLING ROADS TOWARDS THE CENTRE, THE EXCITEMENT, THE PROMISE AND THE WANTING. BUT YOU ROAM INSIDE THE WAITING ROOM AND REALISE THAT EVERYTHING SHINES MORE ACCENTUATED FROM THE DISTANCE, SHARPER, AND FULFILLING. YOU WAIT ON THE BENCH AND REFRAIN FROM ENTERING THE FIELD.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">THEN ABRUPTLY A GRASP, A SLICING GRIP, AN ATTEMPT TO CLAIM THE INNER FIELD AND DEFEND THE OUTER FIELDS. WHAT IS NOT NAMED IS OWNED BY EVERYONE. SO YOU PLANT YOUR MENTAL FLAG AND SAY: HERE IS ME<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>&#8211; HERE IS MINE &#8211; AND A CLAW MAKES THAT INSTANTLY CLEAR. WE NEED TO DISGUISE OUR STRATEGIES SAYS MACHIAVELLI AND STEAR OUR INNER FEELINGS.WE CANNOT READ YOU, YOU WON&#8217;T LET US. YOU ARE NOT IN OUR VISION BUT YOU HUNT AND AIM FROM THE PERIPHERY. YOU ARE A SNIPER OF THE FRAGILE, THE SAVAGES, THE UNWANTED INTRUDERS, BLATANTLY BRUTAL BUT<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>NOT AWARE.YOU AIM FOR THE EYES, YOU AIM FOR THE PUPIL, THE FOCAL CENTRE, THE INFINITE TUNNEL TOWARDS THE SOUL. THEN A MOMENT OF STILLNESS.</p>
